I read about the surgeon general's recent report on cigarette warnings and was a little disappointed that it was a little misleading. The report is about progress made during the last 50 years with increasing awareness of the dangers of tobacco cigarettes. However, one point he wanted to make is the increase in the amount of children who are turning to e-cigarettes from tobacco cigarettes because of the flavors offered. He didn't offer any studies or evidence that suggested switching to e-cigarettes posed a greater risk than tobacco cigarettes. Let it be known that I'm not a fan of children smoking anything...at all...but I am a fan of helping them get away from tobacco (and tar) cigarettes.
